Composite Rod Suspension Insulator
Our composite suspension insulator is manufactured with high-strength fiberglass core rod and anti-aging silicone rubber shed, specially designed for heavily polluted outdoor overhead power transmission lines.
Covering full voltage range from 11kV to 36kV, the mechanical bending load ranges from 5kN to 12.5kN to meet different long-span power line demands. Compared with traditional porcelain and glass insulators, this polymer insulator features light weight, small volume, unbreakable structure, strong anti-bending, anti-twist and explosion-proof performance.
Equipped with hot-dip galvanized steel end fittings including ball & socket, eye & clevis types, the fittings have excellent corrosion resistance for long-term outdoor service. The silicone rubber housing provides outstanding anti-pollution flashover performance, no regular cleaning required even in coastal, chemical and dusty polluted areas.
Available in gray and red color, we support sample testing before bulk order. Each insulator is strictly inspected for lightning impulse withstand voltage and wet power frequency withstand voltage to guarantee stable electrical performance. Widely applied for high voltage overhead power transmission and distribution projects worldwide.
